The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding and experience with cybersecurity concepts, technical writing principles, and the ability to translate complex technical information into clear and concise documentation.We believe documentation is a very important part of our product offering, and you’ll have a large impact by structuring our content and guiding contributors to maintain and expand our documentation to deliver a great experience for our users.What You'll DoConduct user research to identify documentation needs and improve the usability of documentationCollaborate with others in R&D to understand our product functionality and use casesCreate guidance material for engineers to more effectively and efficiently contribute to documentationCollaborate with marketing to develop a consistent product naming architecture and style guide to be used across all marketing, product, and documentation surfacesEdit and proofread documentation to ensure clarity, consistency, and compliance with company style guidelinesCreate release guides and announcement posts to support new version releasesWhat We're Looking ForPrevious experience working at a startup where change is commonplacePrevious experience working remotely where you proactively collaborated with coworkersPrevious exposure to some of the following technologies:Networking and protocolsBrowser based authenticationTLS and certificate managementCommon Linux commands and functionalityContainerizationKubernetesMajor cloud providersTerraformExcellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and engaging documentationSelf-starter who is comfortable working independentlyWhat We OfferCompetitive Compensation: Salary and equity that reflect your skills and experience.Flexible Work Environment: Work remotely from anywhere in the world.
