JOB PURPOSE:

The Customer Assistant & D-Commerce Support role provides administrative, operational, and executional support across the Growth Channels team, with a focus on supporting D-Commerce activities.

The role is responsible for supporting the day-to-day execution of customer plans, promotions, product launches, online content updates, reporting, and operational processes. Working closely with Customer Managers, internal teams, and agency partners, the role helps ensure excellent execution across both in-store and online channels.

By supporting key administrative activities, the role reduces operational workload for Customer Managers and the Growth & Shopper Lead, enabling greater focus on strategic customer engagement, commercial delivery, and growth opportunities.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Administrative Support

  • Support a range of administrative, operational, and project-based activities across the Growth Channels team, with responsibilities evolving in line with business priorities and workload requirements.

  • Support forecasting and sales tracking processes.

  • Maintain customer documentation, trackers, and reporting tools.

  • Manage promotional calendars and key execution timelines.

  • Track actions and follow up to ensure deliverables are completed on time.

D-Commerce Support

  • Support the execution of D-Commerce activities across Grocery and Growth Channels customers.

  • Coordinate online product content, imagery, promotional assets, and digital shelf requirements.

  • Assist with online promotional planning and product launch execution.

  • Monitor D-Commerce execution and maintain performance tracking tools.
    Support reporting and analysis of D-Commerce initiatives.

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Experience

  • Experience in FMCG, sales support, customer service, commercial operations, administration, or related roles.

  • Exposure to D-Commerce, digital commerce, retail, or customer-facing environments is advantageous.

  • Experience managing multiple stakeholders and priorities.

Skills

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills.

  • Excellent attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.

  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office tools.

  • Proactive and solutions-focused mindset.

  • Commercial curiosity and willingness to learn.
