About this Role
Flare Construction, a Quanta Services company, has been building the West's civil and energy infrastructure since 1976. We're looking for a Welder Helper to join our Gas Division crew and get hands-on experience supporting skilled welders on active pipeline and facility construction projects. This position will be in the St. George, Utah area.
What You'll Do
What You'll Do
- Assist welders in setting up equipment and preparing materials for welding
- Keep the work area clean, organized, and safe
- Help monitor inventory and materials
- Operate power and hand tools as directed
- Assist with equipment inspections and basic maintenance
- Transport tools and materials to and from job sites
- Follow all safety protocols and Flare safety standards
What You'll Bring
What You'll Need
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Basic knowledge of welding tools and equipment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 80 lbs. and push/pull loads up to 50 lbs.
- Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and follow direction from experienced welders
