The Advanced Technology Strategic Business Unit (SBU) has a challenging opportunity for a Manager, Contracts within the Advanced Effectors and Space (AE&S) Sub-Strategic Business Unit (SSBU) in Advanced Emerging Technologies (AET) which focuses on key pursuits as well as development efforts that serve as the growth engine and front end of the business, critical to the future growth of Raytheon. Primary responsibilities will include supporting program execution, leading key pursuits, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders, providing contractual guidance, developing Intellectual Property strategies and novel contracting approaches.

The successful candidate would possess the following attributes: strong experience in risk assessment and negotiations, excellent business acumen and communication skills, experience in DoW and international contracting while providing contractual and business guidance to program management leadership.

What You Will Do
Work closely with the Portfolio Directors, Program Managers, Chief Engineers, Business/Estimating, and Supply Chain to manage successful execution of contracts
Provide guidance to senior management regarding contractual and business issues, rights and obligations, and risk mitigation
Lead the analysis of RFPs, development of proposals, proposal reviews and coordination, negotiations, administration of contractual agreements, and execution and close out of contracts
Review and analyze Estimates at Completion (EAC) to ensure accuracy and reliability in project forecasting
Coordinate and manage customer responses to ensure timely and effective communication
Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms and conditions to ensure scope is confined
Support program management and execution reviews to monitor progress and performance
Develop strategies for Intellectual Property and investments to drive innovation and growth
Ensure that negotiated terms and conditions comply with company policies and regulatory requirements
Travel requirements are minimal
Qualifications You Must Have
Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years’ experience
Experience with one or more of the following: Contracts Administration/Management, Program Management, Finance, Subcontracts or Supply Chain
Qualifications We Prefer
Active Top Secret clearance a plus
Contractual acumen with proficiency in contracts fundamentals with knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS)
Experience in management of complex contracts including proposal preparation and / or contract negotiation in a fast pace competitive environment
Strong understanding of financial aspects of contracts, and other business arrangements
Familiarity with Other Transaction Agreements, Intellectual Property, license agreements, or teaming agreements

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
