Job Summary
DeBra-Kuempel is seeking to fill a Supervisor – Purchasing Team Lead position in our Cincinnati, Ohio location. The Purchasing Team Lead is a supervisory position responsible for supporting, coaching, developing, and motivating the Purchasing Team. This position is the first point of contact for the team and the best candidate will possess excellent communication skills and the ability to act proactively to ensure smooth team operations. This person should lead by setting a good example and engage the team to achieve departmental and individual goals.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
- Oversee day-to-day department operations.
- Monitor team performance with Purchasing Manager and Purchasing Admin.
- Motivate team members to perform at their best.
- Discover training needs and provide coaching.
- Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts.
- Suggest and organize team building activities.
