Compensation Range:

$109,000.00 - $163,600.00

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

Serves as the University’s senior leader responsible for admissions-related systems across the full enrollment lifecycle. Owns strategy, governance, and coordination for Admissions systems and related enrollment platforms across undergraduate and graduate functions.

Provides a single point of accountability for how admissions systems are designed, integrated, governed, and evolved. Enables enrollment strategy, operations, compliance, and analytics through reliable, well-coordinated systems. Supports a future-state model in which enrollment systems may operate on one or two coordinated instances, rather than many fragmented ones. Responsible for the planning, budgeting, rates, staff development and supervision as appropriate.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Data Systems Administration and Leadership

  • University-wide leader of Slate CRM (Customer Relationship Management) coordinating a team to ensure all phases and processes of the admissions/recruitment cycle function to industry best practices necessary to support the recruitment, yield, and enrollment of all students.  
  • Supports recruitment efforts by informing strategy, manages institutional agreements, develops new partnerships, and serves on institutional committees. 
  • Chairs the Admissions Systems Governance group with associate dean-level representatives and school systems super-users
  • Works closely with leaders from all Admissions offices (including Undergraduate, Master’s and Doctoral regarding Slate functionality and integration
  • Coordinates with Financial Aid leadership to integrate needed data and systems.
  • Serves as a key liaison to University IT and data governance partners
  • Acts as primary contact from external vendors and platform providers.

Application Systems Development/Operations

  • Manages support team, plans for and creates roadmaps for future development, and implements solutions. 
  • Enables consistent reporting across enrollment units through shared system logic and supports real-time visibility into funnel management across the inquiry, applicant, admit, yield, and enroll stages.
  • In coordination with ODIR and IT, ensures ethical and accurate internal data collection and reporting that is consistent with professional/industry best practices and standards and ensures data integrity through information security and access management protocols set forth by the University.  

Admissions Systems Services

  • Manages institutional support, maintains relationships and partnerships by ensuring adequate service, accuracy of support solutions, discussing support options, and managing helpdesk and request pipelines. 

Supervision and Training

  • Serves as a direct supervisor to a central support team with experts in Admissions Systems Development and Admissions Systems Services.
  • Supports training for end-users including admissions professionals, other staff members, and faculty
  • Develops and maintains an archive of training materials, reference guides, procedure manuals and data dictionary for staff that documents policies and workflow protocols.

Other Duties as Assigned

  • Engages in ongoing professional development through participation in conferences, workshops, and related forums as an attendee, panelist, presenter, or moderator, remaining current with admissions best practices and incorporating new knowledge into day-to-day work.

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor's degree and 3 years of progressive experience at a supervisory level in a technology environment required
  • Master's degree preferred
  • Or equivalent combination of education and experience
