You will report directly to our Production Manager and you’ll work out of our Plymouth, MN location on an On-site work schedule.

You will be the supervisor with primary responsibility on 2nd shift (Mon thru Fri) for the Plymouth, MN Assembly Team. You will be the primary support and the first escalation point of contact when needed. You will be responsible for leading the 1st shift Tiered Operating Systems (Safety, Quality, Delivery, Inventory, & Productivity) across the Navigation and Sensors Assembly areas. You will work closely with Assembly Operations Manager and other functional teams to create and execute the strategic goals for the areas of responsibility.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage and oversee second shift production activities to meet production schedules and quality standards.
  • Lead, coach, and develop production team members to enhance performance and engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and operational procedures and standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including maintenance, quality, and supply chain to resolve production issues.
  • Directly supervise Work Flow Specialist as well as Production Operators
  • First escalation point and support for the shift(s)
  • Drive productivity and culture of continuous improvements
  • Resource management in dynamic environment
  • Review of quality output and coach team improvements
  • Collaborating with customers and cross-functional teams

The annual base salary range for this position is $78,600.00 - $88,450.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 2 years in Manufacturing/Supply Chain/Operations/Logistics
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and quality control.
  • Experience with safety compliance and continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.
  • Proficiency in using production management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
