We're committed to excellence in everything we do, and we're seeking talented individuals who share our passion and values to join our team.What you’ll doAs the Material Distribution Specialist at Terex, you will perform a variety of work related to movement and control of materials and finished goods, i.e. responsible for replenishing materials used on the flow line as well as other general material functions. In this position, you will also handle basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.Adhere to Terex safety policies and proceduresAdhere to and promote The Terex Way ValuesDeliver materials to work stations throughout the plant to meet production demandsOperate fork truck, tugger and/or other PITsSupport implementation of kanbans, stocking material, and following escalation procedure for expediting material as requiredPerform material counts as needed to verify on hand quantities. Interact with Oracle.Work under general supervision; instructions and guidance provided on procedural changes, new regulations, etc.Maintain clean work area and participate in 5s standardsTroubleshoot basic issues and problemsFlex into other areas and departments as neededAll other duties as assignedWhat you’ll bring0-2 years of experience in material handlingHigh School Diploma and/or equivalent experienceCertified to drive, or have the skills to obtain certification, a forklift, tugger or other PITsPossess beginning to working knowledge of the subject matterAbility to read and understand blueprintsAbility to understand and follow verbal and written instructionsAbility to accurately read and understand tape measurementsUnderstand and demonstrate basic computer skillsAble to lift up to 40 lbs and 40-100 lbs with assistance of others or lifting equipment providedAbility to possess good mechanical aptitudeAbility to effectively communicate with all team members Ability to function as a team member and contribute to group goals while maintaining a positive attitude.Ability to work independently with minimum supervision in a responsible mannerAbility to recognize potential safety hazards and take appropriate actions to minimize risksAbility to maintain the integrity of confidential business and product informationAbility to have acceptable attendance for company standard; provides adequate notification; aware of impact on organization.Why Join UsWe are a global company, and our culture is defined by our Values — Integrity, Respect, Improvement, Servant Leadership, Courage, and Citizenship.
