Summary:

Meta is seeking a Strategic Initiatives Lead to support the Partnerships team. In this role, you will be responsible for operationalizing high-priority strategic programs, with a near-term focus on scaling our glasses seeding strategy across partners, tentpole moments, and priority verticals. You will operate in a fast-moving, highly matrixed environment, translating leadership priorities into scalable playbooks, durable partner frameworks, and measurable outcomes.

Program Manager, Strategic Initiatives Responsibilities:

  1. Set and drive priorities and operating cadence to deliver against partnership and seeding objectives
  1. Own the strategic seeding roadmap, with an immediate focus on operationalizing and scaling the glasses seeding program across regions, verticals, and tentpole events
  1. Design, pilot, and scale program models (playbooks, governance, toolkits) that enable repeatable execution and partner activation at scale
  1. Build and manage relationships with internal leadership and cross-functional partners (e.g., Product, Hardware, Marketing, Comms, Legal, Policy) to align on strategy and unlock execution capacity
  1. Train colleagues across XFNs on glasses onboarding tactics to ensure a successful seeding experience for partners
  1. Develop and maintain external partner frameworks that support seeding logistics and tracking across creators, athletes, public figures, and institutional partners
  1. Create concise executive-ready materials (briefs, decision memos, talking points) to support rapid decision-making and leadership alignment
  1. Act as a nimble operator, shifting between strategic planning and hands-on execution as priorities evolve

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. 10+ years of experience in strategic programs, partnerships, operations, management consulting, or executive-level program leadership
  1. Experience building and scaling programs into repeatable, measurable operations
  1. Proven ability to influence and execute with cross-functional stakeholders in ambiguous, highly matrixed environments
  1. Experience translating complex topics into clear, executive-ready narratives for technical and non-technical stakeholders
  1. Bachelor's degree (or equivalent practical experience)

  1. Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
  1. Experience in partnerships, media, sports, entertainment, or creator ecosystems
  1. Demonstrated ability to improve operating cadence and execution at scale across multiple markets or regions
  1. Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
  1. Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
  1. Track record of operationalizing hardware or product seeding programs with external partners
  1. Experience leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows and improve program effectiveness

Public Compensation:

$193,000/year to $269,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
