About this opportunity:

Radio Access Network (RAN) automation rApps are revolutionizing the network management and optimization software landscape. These innovative applications are the driving force behind the automatic evolution, deployment, optimization, and healing of networks, enabling service providers to maximize network efficiency and performance. We are seeking a passionate Test Automation Developer to join our cross-functional teams building cloud-native rApps based on machine learning (ML) -enabled architecture. You will design, build and maintain scalable automated test suites that validate functionality, performance, reliability and security across the full delivery pipeline — from CI/CD to production observability — helping us ship higher-quality releases faster.

If you are a curious professional, eager to learn and share knowledge, and enjoy working collaboratively, keep reading.

What you will do:

  • Own and evolve the test strategy across the entire development lifecycle.
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable automated test suites (functional, integration, performance, reliability, security) for cloud-native microservices and ML components using Robot Framework and complementary tools.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable delivery and strong production observability.
  • Collaborate in agile, cross-functional teams to influence architecture, design, and release quality decisions.
  • Help deploy, configure, and operate Kubernetes + Helm based microservices in test and production-like environments.
  • Investigate and resolve complex technical issues; propose and implement elegant, automated solutions.
  • Produce and maintain clear product and security documentation and advocate testability and observability best practices.
  • Continuously improve our product, processes, and test automation platform with your ideas and experience.

What you will bring

  • Proven experience (5+ years) building and maintaining automated test suites for microservices or in backend development; Robot Framework experience is highly desirable.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tooling (Jenkins, Spinnaker or similar) and integrating tests into pipelines.
  • Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, REST APIs, S3, and containerized deployments.
  • Strong understanding of TDD, integration testing strategies, and production observability practices.
  • Solid programming/scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar) to design reusable test frameworks and utilities.
  • Excellent communication skills; you are a curious learner and supportive team player who enjoys mentoring and knowledge sharing.
  • Familiarity with Agile software development methodologies

Nice-to-haves

  • Background in telecom/RAN domains or experience with network automation tools.
  • Experience with testing frontend (Playwright), ML components or data pipelines
  • Familiarity with WireMock
  • Insight into challenges around ML lifecycle, evaluation, and model monitoring.

Why join us

  • Work at the intersection of ML, cloud-native software, and RAN automation — a high-impact area that transforms service delivery and user experience
  • Influence product architecture and quality practices from day one, collaborating with engineers, data scientists, and product owners to ship reliable rApps.
  • Grow continuously in an environment that values learning, experimentation, and knowledge sharing – good design, usability, and reliability matter throughout the product lifecycle.
