The Trash Recycling Lead directs a team of sorting technicians and machine operators. They ensure compliance with local solid waste laws, manage daily route or sorting quotas, enforce strict workplace safety protocols, and maintain recycling processing equipment.
Team Supervision: Assign daily tasks to line workers, direct workflow on the sorting floor, and train staff on material identification and equipment use.
Safely operate and monitor heavy machinery—including balers, forklifts, conveyors, and shredders—and log preventative maintenance.
