We care for adult patients aged 18 and older who are being treated for Coronary Artery Disease, Heart Failure, and Arrhythmias to name a few. Our patients are unique because their recovery depends on expert nursing care during a vulnerable phase of complex cardiac disease management. In this stepdown setting, nurses’ assessments, critical thinking, and timely interventions directly influence stability, recovery, and short term outcomes. We primarily treat patients with coronary artery disease, heart failure, valvular disease, and arrhythmias.Your Schedule:Full-Time Night Shift - 6:45 pm - 7:15 am (three 12-hour shifts/week)Shifts rotate throughout the weekNote: Set schedules are not available. Schedules are determined by unit clinical staffing needs.All Employees (Night shift & PRN included) are required to attend hospital orientation during regular daytime hours during the first week of employment.What You Need to Qualify:Required:High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience) AND one of the following:Current enrollment in a professional nursing RN program with successful completion of the first semester (including nursing fundamentals clinical), orGraduation from a Nursing Assistant or Aide Training Program within the past year (certificate of completion required), orMinimum of one year of recent experience (within the past two years) as a care partner, nursing assistant, or patient care technician.Preferred:One year of previous acute care experience in a hospital settingFlexible availabilityProfessionalism and reliabilityExcellent communication and teamwork skillsHigh emotional intelligenceWhy You’ll Love Working HereBe part of a nationally recognized medical center.Work alongside passionate professionals who care deeply about patients and each other.Opportunities for growth and advancement within a supportive environment.Ready to Apply?Current Vanderbilt...
