What You'll Do

  • You will facilitate the consensus plan. Manage, chair and coordinate regional demand planning activities for the PBUs. Facilitate a "single set of forecasts" and communicate consensus plans and the assumptions behind them throughout the supply chain and drive alignment across business functions at country, cluster and regional levels.
  • You will maintain demand planning process quality. Employ demand analytics at all significant levels (i.e. product line, rim size, target market segment) in order to drive discussion that are meaningful to a variety of users and which aid in the decision-making process. Track Forecast Value Add.
  • You will need to align Assumptions: Work with cross functional teams to effective articulate and quantify assumptions for Price, Place, Promotion, Product and External factors. Manage analytics and life cycle of existing and new products, consistent with the business product roadmap.  Manage the strategic and tactical implementation of "new products" through the S&OP and RvsCC business processes. Maintain forecast system data integrity, collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper data maintenance. Track performance of assumptions
  • You will need to collaborate with PBU stake holders- Business Analyst, Marketing,Cluster Supply Planning   to facilitate preparation of PBU MOR & S&OP   decks and lead demand planning process for the PBU. Also work with broader SC team to improve safety stocks settings based on demand vraibility, reduce T&W cost impact due to forecast BIAS.
  • You will lead, manage, coach & develop the supply planning team across all verticals within the cluster. Develop a succession plan for all associates in the function.
  • You need to drive improvements in the associate engagement & enablement scores besides reducing attrition rates while improving the functional organizational health built on the premises of trust and collaboration.
  • You need to develop process and people capability around supply planning function.
  • You will work closely with regional capability building team to deploy best practices, and system and process capability in the organization.
  • You also need to do Continuous Improvement. Work with the Business Process Owner (BPO) and Centre of Excellence Demand Planning to design and manage demand planning solutions, inclusive of statistical modeling, utilization of forecasting tool functionalities, multiple views across the business units. Raise, justify and test process changes, liaise with the IT Business Process Leaders (BPLs) to ensure that IT solutions are aligned to the business needs.
  • You will need to lead the implementation of transformational projects across all verticals collaborating with the regional/global teams, including creation and execution of digital programs and T&W strategy.
  • You need to contribute and partner with regional COE teams for various initiatives and programs.

What we're looking for:

  • You must with minimum 10-15 years combined experience in Supply Chain (Demand Planning function), Sales or Marketing, inclusive of 3-5 years solid experience in leading the demand planning function in mid- to large-scale organizations of repute.
  • You must with major experience in forecasting, planning and leadership in a large organization.
  • You must with experience working in a matrix organization of business units and business functions.
  • You must have strong knowledge of Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Logistics, and Sales & Marketing. Must have strong project management, communication and integrative skills.
  • You must have ability to interface with all levels across the company.
  • You must possess business acumen relating to vision and purpose, strategic thinking and problem solving, and creative/innovative mindset.  Must be customer- and market-driven.
  • You must be proficient in Microsoft Excel and demand planning modules of integrated planning systems – o9, Kinaxis, E2Open, IBP
  • You must be exposure to advanced analytics in forecasting, ML based forecasting approach.
