Overview

We are seeking a Cardiac Care Registered Nurse, sometimes referred to as a CCU RN. Responsibilities

If you are a licensed Registered Nurse (RN), we're prepared to provide training to suitable candidates for this role. Newly graduated RNs are encouraged to apply. No experience needed, entry-level  Essential Duties and Responsibilities (includes, but not limited to):monitor patients' cardiac status, vital signs, and telemetry data to detect any changes or abnormalities, heart attacks, or other cardiac conditionsadminister medications as prescribed by physicians, including intravenous drugs, cardiac medications, and pain management medicationsperform assessments of patients' cardiac status, including physical assessments, review medical histories, and evaluate symptomsprovide education to patients and their families about cardiac conditions, treatment plans, medications, lifestyle modifications, and self-care practicesReact promptly to cardiac emergencies, including arrhythmias, cardiac arrests, or respiratory distress, necessitating immediate implementation of emergency procedures, administration of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), and aiding in defibrillation and other crucial life-saving measures

Qualifications

Requirements: Must have current and valid license as a Registered Nurse issued by the StateBCLS upon hire and maintain currentCurrent ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain currentAdditional Qualifications That Are a Plus:Previous Acute Care hospital experienceOne year as a Staff RN in an Acute Care HospitalCCRN Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferredFull benefits at Prime Healthcare: https://www.primehealthcare.com/careers/benefits/ #LI-CG1
