Overview
The H&T Division of AtkinsRéalis India supports the company's overseas operations across the UK, Europe, Middle East, and Hong Kong. The team comprises Transport Planners, Bridge Engineers, Highways Engineers, CAD Technicians, Drainage Engineers, and Virtual Reality Specialists.
Due to our continued expansion, we are seeking a Senior Engineer (Bridge) to support multidisciplinary offshore projects based in Gurgaon, India.
Working within a multidisciplinary team of designers and engineers, you will provide professional design services to clients worldwide. This role offers an excellent opportunity to gain international experience with a globally renowned engineering consultancy. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, checking, and assessment of bridges and other highway structures in accordance with British, American, and European codes and specifications.
Your role
- Design, check, and assess bridges and other highway structures in accordance with British Standards, DMRB, Eurocodes, and AASHTO.
- Deliver projects in line with quality standards, timelines, and budget requirements.
- Ensure technical competencies and industry knowledge remain up to date.
- Apply AtkinsRéalis' Quality, Safety & Environmental (QSE) standards and Business Management System (BMS).
About you
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from a reputed institution.
- 8 to 9 years of experience in bridge design.
- Proficiency in structural engineering software and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively with colleagues, senior stakeholders, team members, and clients.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to understand, explain, present, and resolve technical issues.
- Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from a reputed institution.
- Experience with bridge engineering software such as LUSAS, SAM-LEAP, RM Bridge, and MIDAS Civil.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, MicroStation, and Revit.
- Exposure to international codes of practice.
- Competency in preparing technical reports and delivering presentations.
