Senior Retirement Actuarial Consultant I – Senior Associate
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Retirement Consulting team in the UAE. This is a hybrid role with a requirement to work at least three days a week in the office.
This role offers the opportunity to work on a broad range of actuarial consulting engagements focused on pension and retirement benefits. You will partner closely with clients to provide technical expertise, strategic recommendations, and practical solutions that help address complex retirement challenges. You will also collaborate with colleagues across consulting, risk, and retirement disciplines to deliver high-quality client outcomes and support business growth.
We will count on you to:
- Lead and support actuarial consulting engagements related to pension and retirement benefits
- Provide actuarial analysis, valuation support, and strategic recommendations for pension funds and retirement plans
- Perform calculations and analysis for special retirement projects, including assumption studies, plan design studies, plan terminations, early retirement window studies, post-retirement medical, and acquisition studies
- Work closely with clients to deliver high-quality advice and lead client meetings
- Contribute to the preparation and review of actuarial reports, presentations, and client deliverables
- Manage project timelines while ensuring accuracy, quality, and client satisfaction
- Collaborate with internal teams across consulting, risk, and retirement disciplines
- Support business development efforts and contribute to client relationship growth
- Stay current on actuarial, pension, and retirement industry developments and regulatory changes
What you need to have:
- Actuarial degree at bachelor’s or master’s level
- Professional actuarial qualification or progress toward qualification (SOA / IFoA)
- Arabic speaking ability is required
- Strong knowledge of pension and retirement practices
- At least 7+ years of experience working as a pension actuary or with a pension fund
- Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder-management skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
