About Centari

At Centari, we're transforming the world's contracts into actionable intelligence. Every firm has the same AI now. What separates them is institutional intelligence: how the firm has structured deals, priced risk, and navigated markets across every transaction it has closed. It's why a client picks one law firm over another, and why an LP backs one fund over the next. Today, this knowledge sits buried in closed deals and in the heads of the people who worked on them.

Centari brings it to the surface as structured data that AI can act on, empowering companies to generate new revenue and see opportunities no one else can.

The most demanding transactional practices in the world already build on Centari, including deal teams at Ropes & Gray, DLA Piper, Willkie, Fried Frank, and Wilson Sonsini. We proved it in law. Finance and the enterprise face the same problem at greater scale, and we're going after all of it.

We raised an oversubscribed Series A from investors including Sentinel Global, GTMfund, South Park Commons, Jack Altman, RiverPark Capital, and Recall Capital, and now we're building the team to match our ambition.

The Role

We're hiring our first Head of Operations to build the operational foundation Centari runs on. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll own planning, financial strategy, and the day-to-day operations that power a growing company. This is a rare early-stage role with real leadership potential: the funding and momentum of a company at an inflection point, with room for a standout operator to grow into a much larger role as we scale.

What You'll Do

  • Run our planning cadence. Set the framework for measuring success quarterly and weekly, track our goals and metrics, and make progress visible so everyone knows our priorities and how we're tracking against them.

  • Own the financial model. Manage the budget, track burn and runway, build scenarios, and give the CEO and board clear answers on how decisions affect the numbers.

  • Handle core operations. Payroll, benefits, insurance, vendors, and customer invoicing. You'll start by running these yourself while scoping and implementing the resources to scale these tasks efficiently.

  • Support the CEO on the highest-priority work. Board decks, investor updates, and the analysis behind major decisions.

  • Take on more over time. As you build a track record, this role can grow into wider commercial and strategic responsibilities.

What You Bring

  • At least 7 years of experience across investment banking, private equity, consulting, or startup operations. The strongest candidates pair a top-tier finance or consulting background with hands-on experience at an early-stage startup, but we'll seriously consider exceptional candidates who bring one or the other.

  • Strong financial modeling skills. You're comfortable building and owning a company budget and forecast.

  • Excellent writing. You hold a high bar for how a company communicates, and you can be trusted with work that goes to the board, investors, and the market.

  • A bias for action and no ego about the work. At the start, you'll be building systems for scale and running payroll in the same week.

  • Interest in growing into a larger leadership role as the company scales.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary and meaningful equity

  • Comprehensive health coverage (Centari covers 100% of employee premiums)

  • Dental and vision (Centari covers 75% of employee premiums)

  • 401(k) with employer match up to 4%

  • Lunch covered for in-office team

  • Flexible PTO
