Clerk Food Rotation

Assists in the maintenance of food inventory by distributing goods to assigned areas following proper rotation procedures, labeling and dating. 

 

• Delivers goods to all storage areas. 
• Distributes goods to assigned areas following proper rotation procedures, labeling and dating. 
• Unpacks and restocks shelves as required. 
• Straightens and keeps clean all storage areas daily. 
• All finished product stored properly utilizing rotation system, wrapping/covering prepped food as needed.
• Assists with monthly physical inventory. 
• Assists cooks and pantry with delivery of products as instructed per recipe. 
• Supports and maintains Horseshoe courtesy guidelines. 
• Promotes outstanding guest relations. 
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Minimum 1 year work experience in a restaurant, either front of house or back of house
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. 
• Ability to write simple correspondence. 
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization. 
• Must be able to respond to visual and aural cues.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. 
• Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must be able to maneuver to all areas of the Employee Dining Room.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds
• Must be able to bend, reach, kneel, twist and grip items while working at assigned area. 
• Must be able to stand for the majority of assigned shift. 
• Must have the manual dexterity and coordination to operate office equipment, including a 10 key adding machine, PC computers.
