About the job you’re considering

Capgemini is looking for an experienced SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) & Project Systems (PS) Support Consultant to join our Application Development & Maintenance (ADM) team, supporting a highly secure and business-critical SAP S/4HANA environment. This is an exciting opportunity to work on complex asset management and project delivery processes that underpin critical operational capabilities within a secure Defence setting.
As part of Capgemini's ADM practice, you'll join a team responsible for maintaining, supporting, and continuously improving enterprise SAP applications. Our ADM teams play a vital role in ensuring operational stability, service excellence, and ongoing optimisation across large-scale SAP landscapes, partnering closely with clients to deliver long-term business value.

Your Role

• Providing functional support across SAP Plant Maintenance (PM) and Project Systems (PS)
• Managing maintenance notifications, work orders, maintenance plans, and asset-related processes
• Supporting project planning and execution activities, including WBS elements, networks, and project tracking
• Monitoring maintenance execution, resource utilisation, and cost performance
• Ensuring seamless integration between maintenance and project processes across the SAP landscape
• Investigating and resolving incidents, service requests, and process issues within agreed service levels
• Working closely with business stakeholders to improve operational efficiency and system performance
• Supporting enhancements, testing activities, and continuous service improvement initiatives

Your skills and experience

• Strong hands-on experience with SAP PM and PS modules
• Solid understanding of maintenance management, asset lifecycles, and project delivery processes
• Experience working within asset-intensive industries such as Defence, Aerospace, Utilities, Engineering, or Manufacturing
• Knowledge of work management, maintenance planning, project costing, and asset performance processes
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve complex business issues
• Experience within an Application Management Services (AMS) or support environment is highly desirable
