X-Ray:
Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program Radiology
AART for all Xray roles
- New York State License (L.R.T.).
Ultrasound:
- Graduate of two-year ultrasound program with clinical and didactic education.
- 2+ years as Ultrasound Technician
- Certified Sonographer Issuing Agency: American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
CT:
Associates Degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school. Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program for Radiology
- New York State License (L.R.T.).
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists. (ARRT and current CT certification) for all CT roles
MRI:
- Graduate of an AMA/J.C.E.R.T. approved program in Radiologic Technology.
- Strong background in cross sectional anatomy, physical sciences and M.R. physics.
- 2 years experience in MRI. (Preferred)
- NY State License in Diagnostic Radiology
- A.R.R.T. MRI registry.
- BLS Certified
CAT/MRI:
- Completion of an accredited Radiology Program
- All CT/MRI technologists are required to be DOH certified to inject iv contrast.
- Certified to inject technologists must be able to complete injection tasks as to protocol.
- 0-2 years experience as a CT/MRI technician
