Solution Architect Engineering Methods Tools
Process Standardization
Document current engineering processes, identify gaps, and define standardized work processes, tools, and templates across Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, and Software domains.
Establish revision control, versioning, and approval workflows; standardize engineering design and calculation software across all world areas, with training as needed.
Build and maintain a library of international and national measurement standards, kept current with new releases and accessible to all world areas.
Maintain customer-specific requirement summaries (e.g., Shell DEP, Exxon GP, Petronas PTS, ADNOC, ConocoPhillips) and share engineering journals for major updates and lessons learned.
Technical Governance & Standards Ownership
Own and maintain the global engineering process and tools library, including technical standards, design criteria, and calculation methods.
Set engineering design-integrity and technical-quality criteria; define what good looks like for engineering deliverables across domains.
Provide the engineering standards and criteria against which regional teams execute, partnering with PMO Interface Leads who own local process compliance and auditing.
Collaboration & Knowledge Management
Establish multidisciplinary collaboration frameworks that reduce handoff delays.
Create feedback loops between proposal teams, solution architects, and execution teams.
Develop knowledge management systems to capture and reapply lessons learned.
Innovation & Digital Transformation
Support modular design and virtual design/construction capabilities.
Lead global standardization committees for software, mechanical, and electrical engineering.
Drive AI and digital initiatives to improve process efficiency and quality.
Training & Change Management
Develop training materials and conduct sessions on new processes and tools.
Engage stakeholders across hubs to drive adoption and gather feedback for improvement.

For This Role, You Will Need:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Instrumentation engineering is a plus.
8–10 years of project management experience in complex environments.
Expertise in engineering design of custody transfer metering systems and analytical packages.
Strong knowledge of Oil & Gas industry standards (ASME, ANSI, API, ISO).
Ability to work with global teams and align processes across multiple regions.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications That Set You Apart:
Experience managing global or multi-site projects.
Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
Exposure to digital transformation initiatives.
Knowledge of PMO domains including document control, supply chain, and quality systems
