We are seeking an enthusiastic, team-orientated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Clockhouse Veterinary Hospital on a full-time basis.

Clockhouse Veterinary Hospital is a supportive small animal practice where continuous learning, collaboration and high clinical standards are at the heart of what we do. This is a fantastic opportunity for an RVN with an interest in nurse clinics to bring their skills and experience to a friendly, progressive team.

Our Stroud branch is well-equipped with an operating theatre, dedicated dental theatre, x-ray, dental x-ray, portable ultrasound and a newly installed scavenging system. We also have separate cat and dog wards, an isolation kennel, a separate cat reception area and a spacious, welcoming waiting room.

How You’ll Make a Difference

 

As a Registered Veterinary Nurse, you will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering high-quality nursing care to patients while supporting excellent client experiences.

 

You’ll work collaboratively with veterinary surgeons and the wider practice team, taking responsibility for the nursing care of a range of first opinion cases, contributing to clinical standards, and supporting the ongoing development of patient care within the practice.

 

Working Pattern

  * 40 hours per week  * 5-day working week with a mix of early and late shifts  * 1 in 5 Saturday rota, 8:00am to 2:00pm, with time off in lieu  * No out-of-hours requirements   

General Responsibilities

  * Deliver high standards of nursing care across a varied first opinion caseload  * Support surgical procedures, including anaesthesia monitoring and theatre nursing  * Run nurse clinics and contribute to preventative healthcare and client education  * Provide excellent inpatient care and support patient recovery
