This isn't an AI wrapper slapped onto legacy software - we built a proprietary general ledger accounting system from the ground up, designed specifically for complex investment firms. As the system of record, we've earned the trust to bundle fund administration with tools that were previously fragmented: investor portals, AI-powered portfolio management, KPI collection, and more. With AI, context is king. And Hanover Park has all the context on our customers. In under a year, we've scaled to over $15 billion in assets under administration, serving investment firms and LPs that include top-5 banks and major endowments. We're backed by Emergence Capital (first investor in Salesforce and Zoom), Susa Ventures (first investor in Robinhood and Flexport), and Lux Capital.Stripe for payments. Ramp for expenses. Hanover Park for investments.About the roleFinance software is notoriously ugly. Dense tables, clunky workflows, zero delight. We think that's a design problem - and a real opportunity. You'll join our product design team to shape how fund CFOs, operations leads, and LPs interact with their most critical workflows. That means owning craft end-to-end: the visual language, the system, the research, and the pixels. You'll work directly with founders and engineers - not through a PM layer. The domain is complex. Waterfall models, fund accounting, LP reporting - none of it is simple to design for. But you'll have direct access to real users who will tell you exactly what's broken about every tool they've ever used. That's rare. What you'll work onMajor product surfaces - The surfaces that matter most; how LPs engage, how funds come to life, how data tells a story - and everything we build from hereOur design system - extending and hardening the patterns that scale across a complex platformUser research directly with fund CFOs, ops leads, and LPs - synthesizing what you learn into product decisionsImplementation-ready specs that engineers can build from without a back-and-forthThe long-term visual language of Hanover ParkWhat we're looking forNeed:A portfolio that shows how you think through complex, data-heavy interfaces - not just how they lookStrong visual craft - you sweat the details, ship pixel-perfect work, and have a point of view on what good looks likeExperience building or evolving a design system in a fast-moving productComfort going deep with users - running research, not just reading someone else's findingsFigma fluency and a track record of handing off specs engineers loveNice to have:Fintech, accounting software, or enterprise SaaS backgroundExperience designing at a seed-to-Series B startupThis isn't the right fit if:You need heavy PM direction before you can get startedYou treat design as primarily a visual discipline - our product is functionally complex and design has to serve thatYou haven't worked closely with engineers beforeWhy join nowPrivate markets are a $100 trillion asset class running on outdated software. We're fixing that. The work is hard, the velocity is high, and what you ship will be used by some of the most sophisticated investors in the world. If that sounds like your kind of problem, let's talk.Equal opportunity employmentHanover Park is an equal opportunity employer.
