PMs lead a variety of different types of projects including launching new products and services, large- scale application development, systems integration, BPO arrangements, operational efficiency improvements, process engineering and infrastructure upgrade and deployment. This role is expected to lead all project efforts in accordance with the defined organizational project standards, which align with industry best practices.  This is an individual contributor role managing matrixed teams, and requires leadership and influencing capabilities.ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIESResponsible for implementing the project per the plansContributes to defining, planning, orchestrating and delivering the projectManages all parts for the project life cycle and works with BU IT partners to oversee all SDLC phases of a projectManages scope to ensure commitments are achieved within agreed on time, cost and quality parameters and escalates at the right time to the PM III, Director IT or Program ManagerWorks with the sponsor to validate financial forecasts and provides reconciliation of resources and other project related expendituresDevelops communication plans and interfaces to execute on responsibilitiesPrepared input for key stakeholders on different aspects of assigned initiativesRepresents project in various project governance and inter- department forumsChairs weekly Core Team and monthly Operating Committee meetings to review progress with key constituentsTracks milestone while developing, maintaining, and reporting on an overall integrated delivery plan and report deviationsDevelops the project documents for review by the sponsorSCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITYProject Manager I’s are responsible for managing regional IT projects.PMs usually work with Program Manager or PMIII or Director IT, on different types of IT projectsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in business, finance or technologyMinimum 3 years IT / PM experience in a Multinational OrganizationPMP / PRINCE 2 or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) Certification desirableFocused team player who is comfortable under pressureGood communication skillsExposure to PMBOKStrong presentation skillsHighly organizedAdditional InformationAll qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status or other protected status.
