The Director of Business Transformation serves as the strategic architect for the Wind Services business unit, responsible for driving end-to-end transformation that elevates organizational performance. This leader is accountable for the successful evolution of business operations, ensuring that the organization’s processes, systems, and capabilities are aligned to meet future growth demands. Rather than managing disconnected workstreams, the Director orchestrates a unified transformation strategy, ensuring that every project—from process refinement to digital capability —is executed with high operational rigor. Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership: Define and oversee the end-to-end transformation roadmap, prioritizing initiatives that maximize operational efficiency, improve KPI visibility, and drive business value.
Team Oversight: Manage, mentor, and empower a high-performing team. Foster a culture of cross-collaboration, continuous improvement, and problem-solving, ensuring all team members are aligned on the core mandate of implementing processes that deliver value.
Stakeholder Management: Act as the primary interface between the transformation team and senior leadership, ensuring executive visibility into project progress, risks, and ROI.
Integrated Delivery: Ensure that all team outputs are unified into a singular, cohesive "future state" delivery model that promotes scalability and operational maturity.
Performance Accountability: Establish governance frameworks to monitor project lifecycles, resource allocation, and the overall impact of implemented solutions on Wind Services performance.
Change Advocacy: Champion the adoption of new technologies and methodologies, ensuring that technical implementations are met with strong organizational readiness and communication strategies.
Holistic Process Design: Overseeing the systematic documentation of current and future states to identify systemic process gaps, dependencies, and operational risks.
Requirement Integrity: Governing the translation of complex business needs into precise, actionable project artifacts, ensuring that every transformation milestone is supported by rigorous documentation.
Business Readiness: Ensuring that all organizational transitions are underpinned by a proactive strategy for user adoption, stakeholder alignment, and long-term sustainment.
Product Ownership: Ensure clear product ownership of individual systems as they help transform the overall operation of the business.
Qualifications
Experience: 10+ years of professional experience with 5+ in business transformation, operations strategy, or enterprise systems implementation.
Leadership: 5+ years in an executive leadership capacity, preferably in Energy industry, with a proven ability to manage complex, distributed, cross-functional project portfolios.
Core Competencies: Expert proficiency in business process modeling, requirement gathering, and the ability to convert strategic vision into operational reality.
Executive Presence: Exceptional communication and influencing skills, with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and senior leadership.
