Job Description & Summary

At PwC, we are seeking an accomplished and forward-thinking leader to drive the development, evaluation, and adoption of Generative AI (GenAI) solutions across the organization. This role is ideal for professionals who combine deep technical knowledge with strong business acumen and a passion for leveraging emerging AI technologies to solve complex business challenges.

As a Director, you will play a key role in shaping the organization's AI strategy, leading multidisciplinary teams, and partnering with senior stakeholders to identify opportunities where GenAI can drive transformation, innovation, and measurable business impact.

This position offers the opportunity to work at the forefront of AI innovation, collaborating with Data Scientists, Engineers, Product Leaders, and Executive Stakeholders to build scalable, high-value AI solutions.

What You'll Do

• Lead the strategy, design, development, and delivery of Generative AI solutions aligned with business objectives and organizational priorities.
• Define and execute AI roadmaps that support innovation, efficiency, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Partner with executive leadership and business stakeholders to identify opportunities where GenAI can create measurable business value.
• Oversee the evaluation, testing, and optimization of AI-powered applications, ensuring high-quality outputs, scalability, and alignment with business needs.
• Drive adoption and enablement of AI capabilities across multiple business functions and stakeholder groups.
• Lead multidisciplinary teams consisting of Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, Product Managers, and AI specialists.
• Provide strategic direction on Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), and emerging AI technologies.
• Establish best practices for AI solution development, experimentation, quality assurance, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on AI strategy, technology investments, and future capabilities.
• Build and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning within the AI organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Information Systems, or a related technical field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 10+ years of experience in Machine Learning, Data Science, Advanced Analytics, Software Engineering, Product Development, or related disciplines.
• 5+ years of leadership experience managing teams, large-scale initiatives, and cross-functional programs.
• Proven experience leading AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI initiatives from concept through enterprise deployment.
• Strong understanding of Large Language Models (LLMs), AI Agents, Prompt Engineering, RAG architectures, and modern AI ecosystems.
• Experience driving AI adoption and influencing senior stakeholders in complex organizations.
• Demonstrated ability to translate technical concepts into business value and executive-level recommendations.
• Strong strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Experience working with global teams in fast-paced and evolving environments.
• Exceptional executive communication, stakeholder management, and presentation skills.
• Advanced English proficiency.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience leading enterprise-scale AI transformation initiatives.
• Experience with Azure AI, OpenAI, Microsoft Copilot, Google Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock, or similar AI platforms.
• Knowledge of modern data architectures, cloud technologies, and AI solution delivery frameworks.
• Experience in professional services, consulting, or large multinational organizations.
• Relevant certifications in Cloud, Artificial Intelligence, or Data Science.
