The role focuses on delivering robust, scalable, and secure cloud services for mission-critical Vodafone applications across Europe, while driving transformation from legacy environments to cloud-ready platforms and supporting advanced DevOps practices.What you’ll do Develop, design, and build cloud platform modules and solutions through iterative agile delivery cyclesCreate prototypes and continuously optimise solutions to improve business outcomesConduct peer reviews and maintain high coding and documentation standardsDrive automation and integration activities for OCI cloud environments and tenant workloadsBuild and deploy OCI infrastructure using TerraformAutomate operational tasks such as user management and security hardening using Ansible and PythonDesign and implement connectivity between OCI, data centres, and other cloud service providersTroubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud networking, storage, and performanceSupport the adoption of DevOps culture, tools, and methodologies across the organisationContribute to incident and problem management, including Level 2 and Level 3 supportWho you are  Possess strong expertise in cloud technologies, networking, security, and platform engineering, particularly in OCIExperienced in OCI services such as Compute, Networking, IAM, and multi-tenant environmentsProficient in infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, and PythonFamiliar with DevOps tools including GitHub, Docker, Kubernetes, and Oracle Resource ManagerHave working experience with microservices architectures using OCI OKE and FunctionsKnowledgeable in scripting languages such as Shell and PythonUnderstanding of ITIL, SOX, and security compliance frameworksExperienced in managing critical production environments and web-based applicationsDemonstrate strong analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skillsHold a degree in IT or related field with relevant experience in cloud computing or enterprise ITOCI certifications and telecommunications domain experience are beneficialNot a perfect fit?
