CelLink’s ultra-thin, flexible interconnect technology is transforming how next-generation data centers, EVs, and aerospace systems are built. As part of our engineering team, you’ll have the opportunity to directly influence how the world’s most advanced electronic systems are powered and connected.

As a Hardware Design Engineer, you will design and develop advanced power distribution and interconnect solutions used inside next-generation AI and hyperscale server racks. You will work directly with hyperscalers, OEMs, ASIC vendors, and cross-functional engineering teams to develop high-current electrical hardware that enables large-scale compute infrastructure.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Design rack-level power delivery hardware for AI server platforms.
  • Design and develop high-current interconnect assemblies and power distribution systems.
  • Own electrical hardware development from concept through production release.
  • Perform electrical calculations, including current carrying capacity, voltage drop, resistance, thermal performance, and power distribution analysis.
  • Collaborate with mechanical engineering teams to ensure manufacturable and reliable designs.
  • Support product validation, testing, and qualification activities.
  • Develop and integrate hardware solutions involving PCBAs, busbars, connectors, flex circuits, and power distribution assemblies.
  • Drive design reviews, issue resolution, and continuous improvement throughout the product lifecycle.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering preferred, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in applications engineering, product design, systems engineering, or a similar customer-facing technical role.
  • Proven knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals and circuit and/or system design.
  • Experience with industry-standard design tools (e.g., Cadence, Altium); CAD design experience a plus.
  • Hands-on experience with lab equipment and debugging/automating hardware.
  • Understanding of power delivery and HV systems, with the ability to discuss electrical performance tradeoffs confidently.
  • Experience performing engineering calculations to support design decisions and customer requirements.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both engineering and business audiences.
  • Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple customer engagements simultaneously.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% to customer and vendor sites as needed.
