Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities :
·       Process alerts are routed through SAP-GTS in accordance with the defined screening process.

·       Review and compare Bosch data against sanctions list data using the required decision points.

·       Execute screening support for vendor, customer, employee, transactional/document and payment alerts as applicable to assigned work queues.

·       Update system decisions clearly and save the transaction with the required reason / remark.

·       Support semi-automatic screening for systems not connected with GTS using the specified Excel and CSV preparation approach described in the manual.

·       Support manual screening requests received through defined tools or email, and share the outcome to the requestor in line with the process.

·       Escalate exceptions, unclear matches and system/data visibility issues promptly through the approved stakeholder route.

·       Maintain complete audit trail, remarks and evidence-backed decision rationale in the operational systems and trackers used by the process.

·       Adhere to BGSW data security expectations and confidentiality requirements referenced in the manual for personnel working on BPS processes.
 

Qualifications

Educational qualification:

Bachelors/Masters degree in commerce, finance, Business Administration, ICWA

Experience :

·       2–3 years of relevant experience in sanctions screening, compliance operations, shared services screening, export control support or comparable control-based operations.

Mandatory/requires Skills :
·       Working understanding of sanctions-screening concepts such as true match, false positive, technical hit, negative list and escalation handling.

·       Basic exposure to SAP-based operational environments such as BPS / GTS is suggested for faster role readiness.

Preferred Skills :
·       Demonstrate high attention to detail while comparing Bosch and listing data.

·       Hands-on experience reviewing OFAC general and specific licenses and applying them to real-world transaction scenarios.

·       Strong knowledge of global sanctions frameworks (e.g., OFAC, EU, UN) and their practical application.

·       Experience with screening portals (e.g., Reguvis, DowJones etc) and a strong understanding of validating the information provided.

·       Escalate potential concerns promptly instead of making unsupported decisions in ambiguous situations.

·       Maintain confidentiality, professionalism and control discipline when dealing with sensitive screening information.

Core Performance Measures

·       Decision accuracy based on supervisor / quality review outcomes.

·       Timely closure of assigned alerts within agreed operational turnaround expectations.

·       Quality of documentation, remarks and audit trail traceability.

·       Number of avoidable rework instances caused by incomplete assessment or incorrect decision logging.

·       Readiness of processed cases for monthly quality check sampling.

Job Summary:

The Associate role is responsible for performing day-to-day Sanction Party List screening activities across Bosch SPL operations in line with the approved process manual. The role supports processing of alerts arising from GTS-based screening as well as semi-automatic and manual screening scenarios specifically described in the manual.

The role requires working knowledge of the screening flow for business partners, employees, transactions/documents and payments, along with an understanding of when to release an alert, when to place a case on hold, and when to escalate to the relevant stakeholder. The Associate is expected to compare Bosch data with listing data, document screening decisions, maintain audit trail discipline and support a compliant, traceable and consistent operational process.

Purpose of SPL Screening

·       Understand that Bosch performs Sanction Party List screening for business partners, including vendors, customers and employees worldwide.

·       Know that the process exists to avoid prohibited business with sanctioned parties under national and international counter-terrorism regulations and sanction provisions.
