PBX Operator - Patient Access
PBX Operator in Patient Access Unit at Petaluma Valley Hospital. This position is Full time and will work 8-hour Day Shifts.
Under minimal supervision, the PBX Operator maintains a high volume voice communications center with primary duties including operation of Hospital telephone console, answering and routing calls with speed and accuracy, operation of overhead paging system, Net Page and initiating codes, and functioning as radio liaison with Security and Engineering staff. Secondary duties include maintaining audit process of all hospital outpatient accounts. Will also perform admission activities as required.

Required Qualifications:
- 1 year PBX/Telephone Operator or customer service.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Coursework/Training: Medical Terminology training.
- Hospital or Medical office experience.
