About the Role:
- Prepare quantity take-offs from drawings and specifications.
- Verify BOQ quantities and identify discrepancies.
- Prepare detailed quantity estimates for civil, architectural, and MEP works.
- Support tendering and procurement teams with quantity inputs.
- Prepare variation and deviation statements.
- Verify contractor RA (Running Account) bills.
- Check measurements against executed work.
- Ensure bills comply with contractual conditions.
- Prepare certification recommendations for payment.
- Maintain billing registers and payment trackers.
- Prepare client invoices and supporting documentation.
- Track certification and payment status.
- Coordinate with finance teams for invoicing and collections.
- Reconcile client-certified quantities with contractor payments.
- Conduct site measurements and quantity verification.
- Record measurements in Measurement Books (MB).
- Verify joint measurements with contractors and clients.
- Ensure quantities claimed are physically executed.
- Monitor project costs against budget.
- Prepare cost reports and forecasts.
- Track committed costs and expenditure.
- Identify cost overruns and recommend corrective actions.
- Interpret contract conditions and payment clauses.
- Evaluate variation orders and extra item claims.
- Assist in preparation of change orders.
- Maintain records related to contractual correspondence.
- Support claim and dispute management.
- Prepare material reconciliation statements.
- Monitor material consumption against theoretical quantities.
- Identify wastages and abnormal variances.
- Track free issue and contractor-supplied materials.
- Prepare weekly and monthly commercial reports.
- Maintain billing and cost databases.
- Generate cash flow forecasts.
- Track project revenue and profitability.
- Prepare management dashboards and presentations.
- Coordinate with project managers, planning engineers, site engineers, contractors, consultants, and clients.
- Support procurement team in quantity verification for purchase orders.
- Assist finance team during audits and payment processing.
