Job Description
As a Security Guard Reception Access Control in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badge processes, monitor alarms and security-related systems, and provide exceptional customer service. You will serve as a highly visible, professional presence while helping to deter incidents through clear communication and attention to detail. - Provide exceptional customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and prospective clients at a commercial real estate front desk while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
- Monitor access to the building by greeting visitors, verifying credentials, issuing visitor passes, and maintaining accurate visitor and contractor records.
- Answer and route incoming calls, provide building information and directions, and assist occupants with routine front-desk inquiries.
- Monitor lobby activity, access-control systems, cameras, and alarm notifications, reporting unusual activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
- Respond to incidents, emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner in accordance with site procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- A guard card or license is preferred.
- Experience with alarm panels is preferred.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
