Your role and responsibilities

As a Senior Business Analyst, you will act as an interpreter between the worlds of IT and business, working closely with clients to gather requirements and ensure accurate solution delivery. You will utilize agile principles and methodologies to drive business outcomes and collaborate with cross-functional teams to bring solutions to life. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Gather Client Requirements: Work with clients to gather requirements using various techniques, including agile principles and methodologies, to ensure accurate solution delivery.
  • Interface with Development Team: Collaborate with the development team to ensure requirements are being translated into the solution accurately, tracking progress through development.
  • Manage User Acceptance Testing: Oversee user acceptance testing to ensure the solution meets client needs and expectations.
  • Develop Training Materials: Create training materials and technical documentation to educate the client and user community on the solution.
  • Communicate Solution Value: Communicate the value of the solution to the client and user community, ensuring successful adoption and utilization.

Required technical and professional expertise

  • Performing a functional analysis to detect and define user needs
  • Fluency in French or/and Dutch
  • Translating these needs for technical staff and project managers
  • Collaborating with business analysts and project managers in preparing IT projects
  • Testing and evaluating the results of IT applications and ensuring they meet the organization's requirements
  • Building technical documentation to guide the development team (developers and testers)
  • Have good knowledge of Business Process Modelling and functional analysis
  • Be able to clearly describe desired and existing processes (including methodology and speed of description): Functional Architecture, Use Cases, Data Model, Functional Requirements
  • Have good knowledge of UML, BPMN
  • Have good knowledge of Confluence and JIRA tools
  • Have at least basic understanding of testing methodologies and Agile development
  • Experience in managing workshops and supporting MVP management

Preferred technical and professional experience

  • Knowledge of the overall structure of the AGFISC within SPF Finance
  • Knowledge of Agile Scrum methodology, scrum master experience as a plus
