Company Description

The Operations Client Partner serves as the key link between clients, commercial teams, and operational functions.

This client-facing role is responsible for managing operational relationships with clients, ensuring the successful delivery and quality of NielsenIQ data solutions, and driving the resolution of operational issues. The role partners closely with internal stakeholders to translate client requirements into effective operational solutions, provide guidance on data and delivery-related matters, and build long-term client confidence in the accuracy, quality, and value of NielsenIQ products.

Job Description

Client Delivery & Operational Support

  • Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of ongoing client deliverables and operational services.
  • Act as a key operational contact for clients, proactively communicating delivery updates, delays, and remediation plans when required.
  • Coordinate pre-delivery quality checks and post-production validations to ensure data accuracy and service excellence.
  • Manage operational incidents and escalations, working closely with Customer Support and Data Operations teams to drive resolution.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build trusted relationships with clients by providing operational expertise and guidance on data, deliverables, and process-related matters.
  • Participate in regular client operations and quality review meetings, presenting updates, resolutions, and improvement initiatives.
  • Communicate complex operational and technical concepts in a clear and client-friendly manner.

Operational Projects & Change Management

  • Lead the delivery of operational projects, including product enhancements, database changes, and large-scale operational transformations.
  • Manage project timelines, risks, stakeholder communications, and implementation activities.
  • Partner with clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical and operational solutions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve client databases, reporting structures, and operational processes to increase efficiency and business value.

Data Quality & Operational Excellence

  • Conduct impact assessments related to syndicated data changes at category and market level.
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues related to data quality, product coding, and database services.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and share best practices and lessons learned across teams.
  • Ensure SLA compliance and maintain high service standards across all assigned client requests and issues.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the primary liaison between Commercial teams and Data Operations functions.
  • Coordinate with regional and global stakeholders to resolve client issues and support multinational client requirements.
  • Collaborate closely with Customer Support, Data Operations, and other internal teams to drive effective and timely outcomes.

Qualifications

Experience & Education

  • Experience in a client-facing role, with the ability to understand customer needs and drive appropriate actions and solutions.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong client service mindset combined with operational and project management capabilities.
  • Ability to understand end-to-end operational processes and translate business requirements into practical technical or operational solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, coordinate stakeholders, and drive issues to resolution.
  • Effective relationship management skills, with the ability to work across clients, commercial teams, and operational stakeholders.
  • Experience communicating complex operational or technical topics in a clear and concise manner.
  • Proactive, solutions-oriented approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
  • Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within cross-functional teams.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills required.
  • Professional proficiency in English.

Preferred

  • Experience in FMCG, retail, consumer insights, data services, analytics, or customer operations environments.
  • Exposure to operational change management, data quality management, or client delivery processes.
  • Experience working with CRM, ticketing, reporting, or workflow management systems.
