Key Responsibilities

  • Process Design & Optimization — Develop, validate, and optimize production processes for electronic equipment, satellite subsystems, and structural assemblies.

  • Industrial Documentation — Create and maintain work instructions, manufacturing flowcharts, assembly sequences, and process sheets aligned with ECSS and TAS internal standards.

  • Production Support — Provide daily technical support to operators, resolving process deviations, non-conformities, and bottlenecks.

  • Continuous Improvement — Lead Lean and Six Sigma initiatives to reduce lead time, improve throughput, and enhance process stability.

  • Industrial Validation — Perform capability studies, and industrial readiness reviews (IRR, MRR).

  • Digitalization & Tools — Deploy digital manufacturing tools and contribute to industrial digital transformation.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration — Work closely with Industrial Architect, design engineering, quality assurance, supply chain, and project teams to ensure manufacturability and industrial robustness.

  • Non-Conformity Management — Analyze NCRs, lead root-cause investigations, and implement corrective/preventive actions (8D, DMAIC).

  • Technology & Materials — Evaluate new materials, processes, and equipment to support innovation and competitiveness.
     

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Manufacturing Engineering Expertise — Strong knowledge of assembly, integration, testing, and manufacturing processes for high-reliability products.

  • Lean & Six Sigma — Ability to apply structured problem-solving and continuous improvement methodologies.

  • ECSS Standards — Familiarity with ECSS-Q-ST-70 series (soldering, adhesives, materials, cleanliness, etc.).

  • Technical Documentation — Ability to write clear, precise, and compliant industrial documentation.

  • Data Analysis — Competence in statistical analysis, capability studies, and process monitoring.

  • Digital Tools — Experience with MES, ERP, PLM (Windchill), and digital manufacturing platforms.

  • Teamwork & Communication — Strong ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced industrial environment.

  • Languages: English essential, French would be a plus

Education

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials & Processes, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
Lean Six Sigma certification (Green Belt or Black Belt) is highly valued.
ECSS training or aerospace quality certification is a plus.
