Position Overview
QinetiQ US is looking to hire an experienced Facility Security Representative to support the expansion of our customer's secure facility at Fort Belvoir, VA.
Responsibilities
- Administer highly specialized facility or government classified security programs, ensuring safeguarding classified information, and maintaining compliance with regulations.
- Train employees in security regulations, liaise with government security agencies, arrange classified visits, and coordinate the transmittal of classified information.
- Work on security issues that may include physical access to buildings, rooms, couriers, clearances, packages, documentation, and debriefings.
- Analyze and implement security procedures in coordination with government agencies and management personnel. Analyze the development of and conduct security education programs.
- Conduct day-to-day management and implementation of Special Compartmented Information (SCI) security and administrative management for a Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF).
- Advise and assist military senior leaders with SCI program management and policy, plans, and operations integration.
- Coordinate with parent Special Security Offices (SSOs), as required and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, policies, and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of five (5) years' experience as a Facility Security Officer (FSO) or Special Security Representative
- Experience in the operations, physical security assessments and inspections of a SCIF/SAP requirements to include construction standards and accreditation.
- Experience as a COMSEC custodian, developing and implementing OPSEC plans.
- Experience with working in a fast-paced and constantly changing setting providing support to VIP customer to include 3/4 Star Generals, SES civilians and Presidential Appointees staff as well as other DA customer users and their VTC participants.
- Must have an active DOD Secret or higher level security clearance #qinetiqclearedjob
Pay Transparency
The salary range for this role is $90,000 to $107,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. QinetiQ US considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
