We are currently seeking a BA-Financial Crime/AML to join our team in NOIDA, Uttar Pradesh (IN-UP), India (IN).
We are seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst with extensive expertise in Financial Crime, Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Fraud Prevention, Sanctions Screening, KYC/CDD, Transaction Monitoring, and Regulatory Compliance. The successful candidate will work closely with business stakeholders, compliance teams, operations, technology teams, and third-party vendors to deliver strategic Financial Crime transformation initiatives, regulatory programmes, and technology implementations.
The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical capabilities, excellent stakeholder management skills, and proven experience translating complex regulatory and business requirements into scalable technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Business Analysis & Requirements Management
- Lead requirements gathering workshops with Compliance, Financial Crime Operations, Product Owners, Technology teams, and external vendors.
- Elicit, analyse, validate, and document business, functional, and non-functional requirements.
- Produce high-quality documentation including:
- Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
- Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
- User Stories
- Acceptance Criteria
- Process Flows
- Data Mapping Documents
- Business Rules
- Perform impact assessments for regulatory changes and technology enhancements.
- Manage requirements throughout the project lifecycle ensuring complete traceability.
Financial Crime Domain Expertise
Work across one or more Financial Crime capabilities including:
- Anti-Money Laundering (AML)
- Transaction Monitoring
- Fraud Detection & Prevention
- Customer Risk Rating
- KYC / CDD / EDD
- Sanctions Screening
- Politically Exposed Persons (PEP)
- Adverse Media Screening
- Name Screening
- Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR)
- Financial Crime Case Management
- Fraud Intelligence
- Behavioural Analytics
- Payment Fraud Controls
Agile Delivery
- Work within Agile Scrum or SAFe environments.
- Refine Product Backlog.
- Write detailed User Stories.
- Define Acceptance Criteria.
- Participate in Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
- Support Product Owner during backlog prioritisation.

- Experience working with AML platforms such as:
- Actimize
- Oracle FCCM
- FICO TONBELLER
- SAS AML
- LexisNexis
- FircoSoft
- Quantexa
- NICE Actimize
- Experience implementing Transaction Monitoring or Sanctions Screening solutions.
- Experience supporting regulatory remediation programmes.
