We celebrate the unique perspectives and experiences that make our team extraordinary.Join us as an Analytics Engineer (Payments / Orchestration) on our mission to turn payments into possibilities!Analytics Engineer (Payments / Orchestration)You will own the company’s source of truth for payments data.This role is responsible for transforming raw transaction events into trusted metrics, actionable insights, and merchant-facing reporting that directly improve authorization rates and routing performance.This is not a dashboard-building role. You will define how the business measures performance, identifies problems, and makes decisions.We are a high-velocity team. You are expected to leverage AI tools to accelerate development, analysis, and problem-solving.How You Will Make an Impact:Create a single source of truth for payments performanceDefine and standardize metrics across transactions, routing, declines, and retriesEliminate inconsistencies and ensure the organization operates on aligned KPIsBuild the foundation for all analytics and reportingDevelop scalable, well-structured data models that power internal and external reportingEnable faster, more reliable access to critical business dataIncrease trust in data across the organizationImplement testing, monitoring, and alerting to ensure data accuracy and reliabilityReduce time spent questioning data and increase time spent acting on itDrive measurable improvements in authorization ratesIdentify root causes of declines and quantify their business impactInfluence routing and retry strategies with data-backed recommendationsDeliver insights that improve merchant performanceProvide clear, actionable reporting that helps merchants understand and optimize their payment outcomesRaise the bar on team velocity and executionApply AI tools to accelerate analysis, modeling, and problem-solvingSet a standard for speed and quality in how data work gets doneSkills you will have fine-tuned:Turning ambiguous problems into measurable metricsDeveloping clear definitions for complex, high-stakes KPIsNavigating tradeoffs and edge cases in metric designDesigning scalable data modelsStructuring event-level data into reusable, intuitive datasetsBuilding semantic layers that support both technical and non-technical usersBuilding resilient data systemsImplementing data quality frameworks that prevent issues before they surfaceDeveloping strong instincts for detecting anomalies and inconsistenciesDeep payments analytics expertiseUnderstanding how issuer behavior, routing logic, and retries...
