The Supply Chain Planner is responsible for planning, coordinating, and maintaining daily supply chain operations across one or more functional areas, including materials planning, production planning, inventory management, logistics, demand management, customer service, and order fulfillment. The role ensures a reliable flow of materials and products to meet customer and business requirements while optimizing inventory, improving operational efficiency, and mitigating supply chain risks. The Supply Chain Planner collaborates with cross-functional stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives and leverage planning systems to enable effective end-to-end supply chain execution.
Key Responsibilities- Execute daily supply chain planning activities across materials, production, inventory, logistics, demand planning, and order fulfillment.
- Develop and maintain planning system strategies that improve planning signals and overall supply chain performance.
- Monitor, maintain, and optimize planning parameters within enterprise planning systems.
- Analyze supply chain data and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to identify performance gaps, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
- Identify potential supply chain risks, shortages, or disruptions and develop mitigation plans to minimize business impact.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement short-term tactical improvements and support long-term planning objectives.
- Utilize planning systems to drive consistent and accurate planning signals across the end-to-end supply chain.
- Support Master Supply Scheduling activities by aligning procurement, production, and replenishment plans with manufacturing capacity and customer demand.
- Manage engineering changes, part supersessions, new part introductions, and obsolescence activities while minimizing excess and obsolete inventory.
- Apply Plan for Every Part (PFEP) principles to optimize material flow, inventory management, warehouse operations, and transportation planning.
- Leverage planning tools and business intelligence solutions to improve inventory optimization, parts availability, and supply chain decision-making.
- Participate in cross-functional continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning processes, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and applicable export control or regulatory requirements.

Required Skills
- Knowledge of end-to-end supply chain planning processes.
- Understanding of material planning, inventory management, production planning, demand planning, and order fulfillment.
- Experience using ERP and supply chain planning systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise planning platforms.
- Knowledge of planning parameters, master scheduling, and supply chain optimization techniques.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and KPIs.
- Experience using Microsoft Excel and business intelligence or reporting tools for planning analysis.

Preferred Skills
- Experience with advanced planning solutions such as Kinaxis RapidResponse or other Advanced Planning Systems (APS).

- Familiarity with PFEP (Plan for Every Part), Master Production Scheduling (MPS), and engineering change management.
- Experience in manufacturing, automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial environments.
Experience
- Minimal to intermediate experience in supply chain planning, materials planning, production planning, inventory management, or related supply chain functions.
- Experience with end-to-end planning processes and planning parameters is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with SAP, Oracle, Kinaxis, or similar planning systems is considered an advantage.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Equivalent education and relevant experience may also be considered.
- This position may require compliance with export control or sanctions regulations.
