Full Stack Software Engineer

CPI Security, in Charlotte, NC, is seeking a Full Stack Software Engineer to be part of our growing IT organization. This is an exciting, hands-on delivery opportunity to implement a broad range of key solutions and help lead our growing IT organization, architecting, designing and developing custom web, mobile, Salesforce, and cloud applications. The successful candidate will have strong technical, problem solving, critical thinking, and communication skills. He/She will also want to influence and guide architectural decisions and impact on the overall direction of the App Delivery group.  This is an on-site position that will collaborate and grow within the experience Software team at our HQ in Charlotte, NC.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform full stack engineering on both cloud and on prem systems: design, develop, and unit test applications from the UI/UX, business rules, integration, and data layers
  • Maintain and troubleshoot internal SQL projects and existing
  • Integrate and customize third-party PaaS services and applications
  • Create, build, and release definitions to support and improve CI/CD workflows
  • Participate in Scrum activities including planning, estimating, standups, and retrospectives
  • Collaborate with IT team and business stakeholders at all levels on project delivery
  • Documentation of technical designs and knowledge base content

Job Requirements/Experience

  • 6+ years with CPI’s core technologies and development frameworks:
  • C#, ASP.NET MVC, Web API, ADO.NET, some ORM (EF, NHibernate, Dapper, etc.) - .NET Core
  • Angular, JavaScript, jQuery, HTML, and CSS
  • RabbitMQ or other message brokers
  • T-SQL and database design (normalization, indexing, query optimization)
  • Development and publishing of private Nuget packages
  • Strong Experience with SQL development and design
  • Experience with Apex or Salesforce Development is a plus but not required
  • 2+ years of hands-on Scrum experience
  • Expertise with design patterns and SOLID principles
  • Experience with high scale architectures and concepts: microservices, queues and pub/sub, distributed systems and data sources, GRPC, etc.
  • Experience with Salesforce or other CRMs, e-commerce, distribution/warehouse and workflow-driven systems
  • Excellent written and oral communication
  • Experience with Azure PaaS, including Azure Functions, Service Bus, and Storage
  • Experience implementing Azure DevOps Pipelines for CI builds and releases
  • Networking and infrastructure knowledge or experience
  • Experience with pen testing, software scanning, and testing vulnerabilities
  • Salesforce or CRM experience
