A prerequisite for our mission is to have a clear approach, patterns, and solutions for efficiently managing data as well as for building and strengthening the business capabilities to work with data. We are looking for a new team member with hands-on skills and eagerness to lead the work related to Information Assets management.
As a Data Management Officer, you will:

Become part of the Group Data Management team where the policies, guidelines, tools, and processes for becoming data-driven are conceived, developed and scaled-out to the whole bank. We are in the middle of an exciting journey where you will play a definitive role in the bank’s future.

Together with the team support in facilitating the data management framework, metrics and reporting process related to data management capabilities defined in SEB data management framework.

Network with stakeholders to understand data management capabilities requirements in line with business objectives.

In the various functional areas within Data Management, participate in the work with develop, design, deployment and maintenance of the process, playbook, tools and training programs related to data management capabilities.

Support the DM capability leaders in competence development, coaching, teambuilding and aligning divisional Data Strategy with counterparties at group level.

Attend relevant data governance forums where relevant.

Monitor and adhere to the industry’s best practice related to data management.

Participate in key Data management related data management initiatives and work with DM requirements and tool/ BI development.
No matter the task, you will be working with modern technologies and colleagues that are pushing to make radical improvements to how SEB can leverage data today.

To thrive in this role we believe you have:

5-10 years of experience from a data intensive environment, and you have interest and see the potential of data as an asset in driving business decisions.

Strong stakeholder management skills.
-
Understanding the data management regulations is a plus.
-
Ability to work with strategy and related roadmaps on a group level and ability to get them implemented via others in various divisions.
-
Good understanding of and experience from working with data related frameworks, methodologies and tools.
-
A plus is experience from working with AI and Data Management Solutions such as Collibra or Validio and an appreciation for some of the challenges large organizations face with a wide range of data and needs.

Good understanding of agile way of working with change.
-
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and driving skills.
-
Preferably knowledge and experience of finance/banking, but it is not a must.
-
A strategic view, but simultaneously not afraid to roll up your sleeves to do hands-on work.
-
An academic degree at university level is a must.
-
Fluent in English and preferably also Swedish.
