As a Principal Technical Recruiter, you'll foster a strong team culture and make a significant impact by expanding our critical Product and Engineering teams, helping us build world-class technology and deliver on our mission. This role reports directly to the Recruiting Lead for Product/Engineering and Core. Role Objectives <ul><li>Develop and implement world-class recruitment strategies specifically for a diverse range of complex technical roles (e.g., Software Engineering, Product Management, Data Science, DevOps, Security, etc.), collaborating closely with hiring teams to make data-driven decisions.</li><li>Build long-term relationships with top technical talent in the Austin and wider US tech market, guiding them through a remarkable end-to-end recruitment experience.</li><li>Ensure all candidates have a positive recruitment experience, creating a robust talent network for future technical and leadership opportunities.</li><li>Innovate sourcing techniques to attract top technical professionals, specifically tailored to the competitive Austin tech landscape.</li><li>Work with the Employer Brand and Marketing team to execute recruitment marketing campaigns and events targeting relevant technical communities.</li><li>Partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership to support their growth initiatives, including talent mapping, competitor analysis, and compensation benchmarking for key technical roles.</li><li>Utilize data to identify and address hiring challenges within technical functions, optimizing processes for global scalability and efficiency.</li><li>Collaborate with the wider People team to ensure a seamless employee experience from recruitment through onboarding.</li><li>Mentor or manage a small team of junior recruiters or sourcers, sharing best practices, providing guidance, and helping to develop their skills and careers. </li></ul>Qualifications <ul><li>Experience: 8+ years of experience as an in-house Recruiter with a successful track record in tech recruitment, specifically for product and engineering roles.</li><li>Tech-Forward Mindset: Demonstrated expertise in sourcing top product and engineering talent, with a strong interest or experience in piloting advanced sourcing tools, semantic search algorithms, or automated workflows.</li><li>Value Evaluation: Ability to look beyond technical skills and resumes to identify candidates who deeply align with our culture and values.</li><li>Agility &amp; Drive: Strong self-starter who flourishes in a fast-paced environment and is excited by the opportunity to use technology to drive efficiency and build new processes.</li><li>Adaptability: Comfortable navigating ambiguity, adaptable to change, and eager to explore and adopt emerging HR technologies.</li><li>Problem Solving: Creative problem solver who enjoys tackling challenging roles and actively learning new tech stacks and modern recruitment tools.</li><li>Communication: Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of engaging with individuals at all levels within product and engineering organizations. </li></ul>Additional Information For everyone, everywhere.
