As Senior Business Analyst, you will work in a team based, global environment and provide significant individual contribution to the Enterprise application integration efforts. You will own the responsibilities of business analysis end to end. You will come up with innovative solutions for business problems and will coordinate with the development team to implement them successfully.

As a Business Systems Analyst Senior, you will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand business processes, needs, and goals related to billing management systems.
  • Analyzing existing systems and identify opportunities for optimization and enhancement.
  • Creating detailed requirements documentation for proper delivery across the SDLC. Including user stories, process flows, business requirements, and functional specifications.
  • Coordinating with cross-functional teams (Engineering, QA, UX, Operations) to ensure successful execution and delivery of roadmap items.
  • Supporting user acceptance testing (UAT) by developing test cases and coordinating testing efforts.
  • Ensuring quality delivery and customer support into production through a hypercare cycle.
  • Completing project reviews and documentation for lessons learned for future improvements.
  • Being adaptive, productive quickly in new environment that is fast paced. Learn new processes and multiple technologies.

Do what you love

To be successful in this role you will:

  • Have a Bachelor's / Master's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Have 5+ years of experience as a Sr. Business Systems Analyst or similar role, ideally in IT.
  • Have experience with Oracle Accounts Receivables platforms (R12 / Fusion Cloud)
  • Have extensive knowledge of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Have proven experience in managing multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously, with proven prioritization skills.
  • Demonstrate skilled use of toolsets, presenting and articulating value of a program. Presentation, analysis and reporting tools contained with MS/Google toolsets.

Compensation

Akamai is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. For US based candidates only - the base salary for this position ranges from $88,900 - $160,100/year; a candidate’s salary is determined by various factors including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and location. Compensation for candidates outside the US will vary. The compensation package may also include incentive compensation opportunities in the form of annual bonus or incentives, equity awards and an Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP).
