Job Description – SSIS Developer / Lead

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced SSIS Developer with strong expertise in SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and data integration to design, develop, and maintain ETL solutions. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in building end-to-end data integration pipelines, working with SQL Server, and implementing data warehousing solutions. This role requires both technical leadership and the ability to independently deliver high-quality SSIS solutions.

Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy SSIS packages for data integration and ETL processes
  • Work on end-to-end solution design and implementation using SSIS
  • Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and data pipelines
  • Utilize Script Task and Script Components for complex transformations
  • Manage and implement SSIS deployment models (Project/Package)
  • Collaborate with application teams to understand business requirements and integrate data systems
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers
  • Ensure data quality, performance optimization, and error handling in ETL processes
  • Work independently to deliver complete SSIS-based solutions
  • Support and maintain existing ETL processes and troubleshoot production issues

Experience Required

  • 8-10 years of overall IT experience
  • Minimum 8+ years of hands-on SSIS development experience
  • At least 3 years of experience in end-to-end solution design using SSIS
  • Strong experience in SQL Server and Data Warehousing architecture
  • Experience with integration projects and Business Intelligence solutions
  • Hands-on experience with PL/SQL procedures and commands
  • Strong expertise in SSIS Script Task and deployment models
  • Proven experience in leading development efforts while being hands-on
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to work independently and manage complete SSIS implementations
