As a Workday Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in consulting services for Workday finance applications, analyzing client requirements, implementing software solutions, and providing training and support for seamless integration. Within our Digital Core Modernisation practice, you will enable clients to optimize financial processes and improve financial reporting to achieve their strategic objectives. As a Manager, you will lead teams and manage client accounts, focusing on strategic planning and mentoring junior staff. You are accountable for project success and maintaining standards, motivating and inspiring others to deliver quality. You will leverage team strengths and manage performance to meet client expectations, embracing technology and innovation to enhance delivery.

In this role at PwC Acceleration Center India, you will take ownership of projects, confirming their successful planning, budgeting, execution, and completion. You will develop skills outside your comfort zone and encourage others to do the same, effectively mentoring team members. You are expected to lead with integrity and authenticity, articulating our purpose and values in a meaningful way. Addressing conflicts or issues, you will engage in conversations with clients, team members, and stakeholders, escalating where appropriate, all while upholding professional and technical standards.

Responsibilities

- Leading the implementation of Workday finance applications to optimize client financial processes
- Analyzing client requirements and developing tailored software solutions to meet strategic objectives
- Providing training and support for seamless integration and utilization of Workday finance applications
- Managing project planning, budgeting, execution, and completion to deliver on client expectations
- Guiding teams in identifying opportunities for business process improvement and financial transformation
- Overseeing financial reporting and analytics to enhance client decision-making capabilities
- Utilizing financial management software to streamline financial transactions and reporting
- Monitoring and analyzing financial trends to provide insights and recommendations
- Collaborating with team leadership to maintain quality, timelines, and deliverables
- Mentoring team members to develop skills and encourage professional growth
- Addressing conflicts and engaging in critical conversations with clients and stakeholders
- Upholding professional and technical standards, including compliance with regulatory requirements

What You Must Have

- At least a Bachelor's degree
- At least 8-12 years of experience
- Oral and written proficiency in English required

- At least one of the following: One or more Workday certifications in Financial Management, including Workday Financials, Accounting Center, Revenue Management, Expenses, or related finance platform credentials
