Job Description & Summary: The SAP PPQM Senior Associate is responsible for leading the design, implementation, configuration, and optimization of SAP solutions for production planning and quality management. This role requires an in-depth understanding of the Plan-to-Produce (PTP) and quality management lifecycles, and the ability to contribute effectively to project leadership tasks and collaborate with cross-functional teams. 

Responsibilities: 

 

Lead Project Implementation: Lead project activities for SAP PPQM implementations, enhancements, and rollouts, ensuring deliverables align with quality standards and timelines. 

 

Functional Expertise: Provide expert advice on best practices in SAP PPQM areas, including Master Data (BOM, Routing, Work Center), Material Requirements Planning (MRP), Shop Floor Control, Quality Planning, Inspection Lot Processing, and Quality Notifications. 

 

Process Documentation & Analysis: Lead the gathering and documentation of detailed business requirements and functional specifications, ensuring clarity and detail for project teams. Conduct gap analyses to identify business needs and map them to SAP PPQM functionalities. 

Testing and Quality Assurance: Oversee and participate in testing cycles (Unit, Integration, UAT) and support quality assurance efforts by validating deliverables against requirements. 

Collaboration with Stakeholders: Collaborate closely with functional consultants from MM, SD, and FI/CO teams to ensure seamless cross-module integration and translate complex business requirements into actionable technical specifications. 

Mentorship & Improvement: Mentor junior consultants and stay updated on SAP PPQM functionalities and advancements, including S/4HANA Manufacturing and Fiori applications, to enhance team skills and drive continuous improvement initiatives. 

Mandatory skill sets: 

 

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. 

Experience: 4-7 years of hands-on experience in SAP PP and QM implementation and support, with involvement in various aspects of the project lifecycle. 

Core Functional Skills: In-depth knowledge of SAP PPQM sub-modules and the PTP and quality processes, including: 

Production Master Data Management (BOMs, Routings) 

Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and Demand Management 

Shop Floor Execution, Confirmations, and Backflushing 

Quality Planning, Inspection Processing, Quality Control, and Notifications 

Technical Skills: Familiarity with cross-module integration (especially with MM, SD, and FI/CO) and the ability to contribute to functional specifications and RICEFW development. Exposure to ABAP debugging is a plus. 

Modern SAP Knowledge: Understanding of S/4HANA functionalities for Manufacturing and Quality, and familiarity with SAP Fiori applications for enhanced user experiences. 

Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with proven leadership experience and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
