Our focus is on designing, manufacturing and distributing products for automotive, diesel, power-sports and specialty filter markets.

We are excited to announce that we’re hiring an Operations Manager for our Albion, IL location.  Reporting to the Plant Manager, the primary function of this role is to lead daily activities, improve safety, quality, & productivity, and manage resource allocation at our air filter manufacturing plant.    

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate, and support a large team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment
• Maintains a safety-first culture throughout facility.  Works with EH&S staff to establish and ensure implementation of safety standards
• Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget and facility objectives are met
• Monitors demand and capacity information to maintain appropriate hourly labor levels
• Develops systems and processes that track and optimize safety, quality, cost, and delivery performance
• Effectively communicates at all levels and supports communication throughout the facility.
• Establishes goals, conducts performance appraisals and provides coaching and guidance for direct reports
• Assists Plant Manager in the development of budgets
• Develops and supports programs that provide training and motivation, resolution of employee problems, and coordination of work efforts.
• Supports and ensures enforcement of company policies and procedures
• Performs other duties, as assigned.

Qualifications

Education, Skills, and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or Engineering or equivalent in education and experience 
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Prior experience as a Production Manager, Operations Manager, or Plant Manager - preferred
• Working knowledge of manufacturing and quality systems – Lean, Six Sigma, IATF, etc
• Knowledge of automotive air and cabin air filter manufacturing – preferred
• Strong leadership, conflict management, problem solving, and communication skills
