Senior Analyst, Category Management
The Senior Analyst, Category Management is responsible for supporting category management initiatives, partnering with cross-functional teams and customers to develop and implement strategies that drive category growth and improve business performance. The role serves as a data analytics subject matter expert, analyzing customer and market data to identify trends, formulate recommendations, and support category assortment and planning processes. This position collaborates closely with the Category Advisor to develop category management tools and reports, strengthen customer relationships, and deliver data-driven insights. Success in the role requires strong analytical, communication, and presentation skills, along with the ability to translate complex data into actionable business strategies.

What You Will Do
- Lead and manage category management projects for key customers, delivering customized solutions and driving business growth.
- Analyze customer, sales, and market data to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and develop strategic recommendations that improve category performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, serving as an analytical subject matter expert.
- Collaborate with Category Management team to develop, refine, and implement category management tools and processes.
- Prepare and deliver customer presentations, using data and analysis to answer questions and deliver insights.
- Support data integration efforts, including customer data as well as Goodyear internal and external.
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Analytics, Business, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a business environment, with a strong background in data analysis, business insights, and data visualization.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint
What Sets You Apart
- Experience with SQL or other programming language, Oracle, Snowflake, and Tableau
- Demonstrated ability to identify trends, solve complex business problems, and develop actionable recommendations based on customer and market data.
- Experience presenting insights and strategic solutions to customers and stakeholders, with the ability to influence decision-making and drive results.
- Strong communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
