Configuration Management: Establish and maintain a comprehensive Configuration Management Plan for space-based interceptor systems. Develop and enforce baseline controls, including tracking system versions, updates, and configurations. Manage Configuration Identification, Change Control, and Configuration Audits to ensure traceability of technical documentation. Ensure compliance with DoD and industry standards for configuration practices, tools, and policies. Evaluate proposed modifications to system configurations and ensure alignment with system specifications and program objectives. Coordinate across engineering teams to ensure smooth and efficient implementation of approved changes. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including systems engineers, software engineers, and quality assurance, to ensure design integrity during system lifecycle stages. Participate in milestone reviews such as System Requirements Reviews (SRR), Critical Design Reviews (CDR), and Pre-Deployment Reviews (PDR). Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 10 years' experience 20+ years of experience in configuration management in aerospace, defense, or missile systems. Demonstrated expertise in Engineering Review Board (ERB) processes, including preparing ECPs and risk analyses. Comprehensive understanding of DoD Configuration Management Standards, including MIL-HDBK-61A, AS9100, and ISO 10007. Proven experience in risk identification, analysis, and mitigation strategies for defense systems.
