About Arketa
Arketa is building the operating system for modern fitness and wellness. Our mission is to make wellness more accessible by empowering studios and wellness entrepreneurs to grow beyond in-person classes. We provide a powerful, all-in-one platform to manage and scale hybrid wellness businesses, whether online, in-person, or both.
With Arketa, studios can manage schedules, accept bookings and payments, build on-demand video libraries, host retreats, run automated marketing, and launch fully branded apps and websites. We make it simple for founders to deliver a seamless, professional experience across every customer touchpoint. We've raised $15M in Series A funding and are growing quickly. It's a unique moment to join us. We're building a category-defining company in a fast-moving space, and we're looking for a leader who is excited to help shape what world-class partner support looks like in the wellness category.
About the Role
As our second Sales Manager, you'll lead a growing team of AEs — most of them early in their careers — to exceed pipeline and revenue goals. Coaching is at the heart of this role: you'll spend your days developing junior sellers into high performers, running deal reviews, joining calls, and building the reps' skills at every stage of the funnel.
We're scaling fast, from tens of millions of ARR toward hundreds of millions in ARR, which means constant experimentation. You'll help us trial new sales plays, test new segments, and pilot new team models — then double down on what works and cut what doesn't.
Mult-location deals a plus - ability to coach sellers on demoing and selling larger businesses with multiple layers and more complex processes.
About the Team
This team is high-velocity and high-volume, growing quickly and experimenting often. Each member of the sales team is highly passionate about our Partners, the wellness space and studios they enable.
What You'll Do:
Lead and manage a team of 6–10 AEs to exceed pipeline and revenue targets
Coach the team through call reviews, live deal coaching, role-plays, and skills development — turning reps early in their sales careers into consistent top performers
Recruit, onboard, and train reps across the full sales cycle
Partner closely with our SDR managers on feedback loops and coaching opportunities across the funnel
Develop performance metrics, dashboards, and regular reporting
Design, trial, and iterate on new sales plays, new segments, and new team models as we scale
Use AI — Claude in particular — to build analyses, coaching materials, and sales enablement, and set the standard for how your team works with AI
Identify and remove blockers, optimize systems, and scale what works
Partner closely with Revenue Operations on process, tooling, forecasting, and reporting
Collaborate closely with Marketing, Success, and Product teams
Contribute to overall sales strategy and forecast against company goals
What success looks like:
We believe in setting our team up to thrive.
30 Days: Complete onboarding and go through the full sales motion personally. Start learning the team structure, product, and current coaching needs.
60 Days: Begin taking on meaningful coaching responsibilities, especially with newer AEs. Sit on lots of demos, help run early demos for new reps, and support test-out / feedback loops. Start contributing to pipeline reviews, CRM rigor, and day-to-day team management.
90 Days: Be fully coaching in role and confidently pitching Arketa. Own core manager responsibilities: pipeline reviews, coaching, keeping CRM updated, and helping reps improve performance. Understand deal desk decisions.
What we're looking for:
3–5+ years of experience managing sales teams at a fast-paced SaaS company
Familiarity with wellness, fitness, or consumer subscription products
A proven track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets
Deep coaching experience — especially developing reps early in their sales careers into strong, quota-carrying sellers
The ability to run effective 1:1s, performance reviews, and team trainings
Hands-on experience and real comfort using AI — Claude especially — to build analyses, coaching materials, and sales workflows (this is a big part of how we work)
Strong operational skills and experience with HubSpot CRM, Avoma, Revenue Hero, and Google Sheets
Comfort partnering with Revenue Operations on process, tooling, and forecasting
A growth mindset with strong ownership, accountability, and curiosity
A genuine passion for fitness, wellness, entrepreneurship, and building something new
Experience scaling a sales team through a high-growth stage (e.g., $XXM to $XXXM+ ARR)
Bonus:
A track record of experimenting with new sales motions, segments, or team structures
Previous exposure to PLG or hybrid sales motions
You Should Apply If
If you like a high-growth environment
If you want real ownership
If you want room to shape things
If you want fast execution culture path into a strong growth moment
You May Not Want to Apply If
If you want a slower, more structured environment
If you come from mid-market / enterprise only
If you don’t want to coach heavily
If you aren’t excited by fitness/wellness
If you prefer narrow execution over ambiguity

For this role, annual base salary is $85,000 to $90,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications. This position is exempt.
